The East Van Crown went off as well as we could have dreamed. It rained, but mostly overnight and the courts at New Brighton Park dried through each morning under a brightening sky.

It's only a week until the two-day East Van Crown bike polo tournament. Vancouver has some of the best hardcourt bike polo in the world, with teams regularly cropping up in the top places in North American and World Bike Polo championships.

Bike polo is also a great spectator sport - so come join us in the annual tournament next weekend at New Brighton Courts.

On Friday, there's also a less competitive "Dirty Threesome" polo championship.
