Tactical Voting Site Focuses On Environment

I like the idea from a geek point of view of Vote For the Environment, which has been reportedly getting tons of hits lately. But this doesn't make sense for the party with the strongest environmental policies - the Green party - who really need to attract as many votes as possible even if they don't win any seats. Votes raise the stature of The Greens and stymie the criticism of not being "relevant" (even though they have a third of the Conservative party's support) - and carry the fledgling party forward to their next threshold in their quest for more campaign funds and seats.

In a counter-intuitive way, I can see that whatever the government is - Tory majority or minority or a leftish coalition of all but the Tories - it is in for a very rough time. In the long term, this election's winners will ultimately be losers and the losers, well, they will be in a stronger position next election because they wont have presided over one of the worst economic downturns in living memory. Makes you wonder why anyone would want to be PM right now.
